SQUEEEEE!!!

I have no idea what that word means but it's the only way to express my excitement for the most fabulous ankle boots that are on their way to me. After all my diligent sleuthing, calling around, calling around more, and stressing. I have finally gotten my hands on the Christian Louboutin Nitoinimoi Ankle Boots!! Granted they are in a 1/2 size smaller than I preferred I think I can make these babies work. I know generally these boots run TTS but with the weird sizing this season I am hoping and praying it will work in my favor and I can rock them.

I thought I had secured myself a pair last night from the Barneys in LV, the SA told me he would call me today and let me know. He called with news while I was at lunch. The news was bad. The shoes were actually a 37 in the 38.5 box. 37 = no go. He tried to find me another pair but came up with nothing. I sulked around at work today and e-mailed a few stores thinking I would settle for black. Nordies was out, Saks only had all leather at 30% off, NM didn't carry them and I didn't call boutiques because I need to be able to return them if they don't fit/look good. I thought I might settle for not getting any and then after dinner I decided to take matters into my own hands. I started from the top of the Barney's store list. Madison said they would need the number to check, I didn't have it so the SA said he would look it up, check and call me back. Called Scottsdale and they didn't order the blue but the SA said he saw black in the system in a 38 but that it was on sale? Vegas said black was full price? So confused now. Anyway.... as soon as I hung up with Scottsdale David from Madison called and said he found me a 38! And there you have it! Persistence pays off ;-)
