Chanel Baby Animals Spring 2007?

I've been bad. Bought some stuff at Neiman's last night. Lilac cashmere boyfriend sweater and a striped splendid tee. Anyway, for some reason I am obsessed with all things kitschy, hello kitty, tokidoki, fafi, etc. Today I won an auction from Decades Two in LA for a Spring 2007 Chanel Baby Animals clutch. I'm excited! My first Chanel. I would prefer that it was a Jumbo Caviar or Lambskin Flap but I don't exactly have $3K to spend on a bag right now. Oh well I'm excited anyway!

Did anyone else see these bad ass stripper heels by Olivier Theyskens for Nina Ricci Fall 2009?






Totally outrageous and impractical, but great for show. They definitely remind me of my favorite fashion muse, Victoria Beckham and her Antonio Berardi over the knee PVC heeless boots.

Yay! They're here! Love Moschino crab sandals from Fleur! Now it needs to get hot out so I can wear the 937465639273 pairs of sandals that I have bought or am planning to buy. The days of crappy ugly flip flops are over for me.


On that note I am going to Target later today after work to check out that new Alexander McQueen line and I'll prolly go to KOP too. I have a wedding to go to in August and I thought I might buy one of these two dresses. Excuse the other weird photobooth picture, Net-A-Porter doesn't have the last one on their site and I'm just going to go to the DKNY store in KOP.

Ebay

Doesn't anyone know anything about ebay??? You wait till the last day to bid and the item price generally stays lower unless there is a dummy who just doesn't know anything about what they're buying and makes ridiculously high bids and overpays.

Don't even get me started on 0 feedback bidders either. They need to perish. Now I know that everyone doesn't start out with feedback and you have to buy/sell things to gain feedback, but it's always the stupid n00bz who ruin ebay auctions by bidding up the price EARLY and then THEY DON'T PAY and ruin it for the seller and other buyers.

SA's

Being that I've worked in retail for so long I firmly believe that a good SA makes a BIG difference. I really hate going into a store where SA's ignore you if you don't appear as though you are going to buy anything (i.e. not dressed up, young, etc) or just act like they are above the idea of helping you all together. Fortunately I've had mostly good experiences in the boutiques I've shopped at and made good relationships all over. Oddly enough I feel like all the bad SA's are found in the main NYC boutiques with the exception of the SoHo Chanel but that isn't the main store so my theory still somewhat rings true. I visited my SA Jamie at the LV KOP boutique the other day and while I did not buy anything she was so helpful and she even noticed that I had gotten my haircut, this positive experience compelled me to write about it. (I'm thinking about purchasing the Stephen Sprouse Leopard stole)
