I decided to pass on the Charlotte Olympias. As much as I love that color and skin (GOD I need ostrich in my life) I tried to think of outfits I would pair with them and came up with nothing. It pains me to pass on such a gorgeous shoe but there is no point in buying them and having them sit in the closet. I still haven't worn the Manolos but I am NOT getting rid of those.
I wore my candy flats out to dinner last night with DA.
My god are they uncomfortable. It's that stupid ribbon trim at the top circling the shoe, the same reason my python rosellas are slightly uncomfortable. If python wasn't so pliable they would be REALLY uncomfortable and the combination of patent/rigid lace on the candies just make me want to scream!! I already have a blister and we only went out for dinner. To keep or not to keep? I already applied a foot petal which did not help..... TO THE FOOTCARE AISLE WE GO! (after work of course).

The Shoe Hunt
Just when I feel like I have acquired the last pair of shoes that I think I will need for a while something else pops up, it's like clockwork.
I think I am going to start buying the majority of my shoes on sale. I get more satisfaction from the sale and well if I don't find them they weren't meant to be.
I have been messaging back and forth with this seller on ebay about these amazing Charlotte Olympia Greta pumps in a seafoamy green ostrich.
They're from the A/W 2008 line.

I've also may have accidentally bought these cute little striped Prada flats. I wanted them before the sale but found the price to be a little outrageous for some canvas flats with a bow. At roughly 60% off I figured I could splurge.
A little kitschy but definitely me :-P

Last but not least my actual sale purchases. I already posted the lovely pair of Manolo's I received at 60% off from Nordies.
Simple Pump 100 (jade patent) Barney's
Simple Pump 85 (framboise patent) Nordstrom Rack via Ebay
Candy Flats via Ebay
That's all for now....

Snow Day #2
Blogging to you from the comfort of my couch.
I have a fresh cup of coffee, the television is on and I'm in sweatpants, it doesn't get any better than this (well it could, I'd really prefer to be on a beach somewhere in the sun but hey I'll take a day off too). Unfortunately a PERSONAL day.... over a foot of snow and the office didn't close... REALLY BCF??
Speaking of the beach, I planned a small vacation for DBF and I last night. Florida for a few days in March.... let the countdown begin!
On the shopping front.... I pre-ordered my Madame Butterfly Booties from my favorite SA at Nordies. I can't wait to get them... buttery soft black nappa leather.... SWWWWOOONNN!!

On another note, I've been watching a certain pair on bonanzle for a few days now. After seeing them on an SA at the Horatio boutique and a stylish tPFer I realized how versatile they can be. I'm hoping that the size works for me and that I can finagle a good deal :-P

Christmas Cheer!
Season's Greetings y'all!
It's been months again since my last post.
I've been traveling a bit... Vegas, Florida, NYC.... the usual.
Been purchasing too :-P but I must admit I have been majorly trying to cut back.
Hit up the DVF sample sale in NYC yesterday. Deals to be had for those under a size 10, but for those over be prepared to rummage..... and if you want to try something on... that is a completely different story.
