Happy Christmas Lovlies!

Hope everyone is enjoying their holidays! I know I am, sitting here typing in my hideously fabulous leopard Uggs with my cutiepie doggie on the couch. I do wish Santa would have brought me one more thing.... a FULL TIME JOB!

I found some more informative pictures about the LV Stephen Sprouse collection through the link below from the Bagaholicboy blog and now I am definitely torn....

LV Speedy or Neverfull in the Graffiti print. UGH UGH UGH UGH!!!!!! Which to get!! I've already hounded my boutique since I will not be in town when the collection drops (THEY'RE BEING SO DARN SECRETIVE ABOUT THE COLLECTION! AND THERE'S NO WAITLIST) and will be ordering over the phone (I do like to stay loyal to my SA's). They said it was alright, whew! Otherwise I was going to have to make Derek drive me to the Boca mall or Bal Harbour, which maybe I should still do, am I going to be able to get anyone on the phone? I do want a bigger speedy, my 25 is teenie tiny but I do like the style of the neverfull and I would buy the GM if it came that large, if it only came in the PM or MM I would reconsider. But what color, pink, green orange?

I am so pumped!

Procrastination Station

Just felt like posting a picture of my crab sandals, featured in the December issue of Elle magazine. Please excuse my lazy photoshop circle.

Grades Grades Gradessss

Well I've already gotten two of my final grades back..

A- in Integrated Manufacturing Technology and in my Pass/Fail Textiles Industry Issues Seminar it was pretty obvi that I was going to pass.

I'm still waiting on Apparel/Textile Quality Assurance, which I had a B+ in at midterms and with our final project and the final I took today I am hoping to squeak by with an A- or possibly an A but I won't get greedy here, I guess the B+ would be okay too. Apparel Merchandise Management I had an A at midterms and I'm pretty sure unless my presentation bombs that I will get an A, because I did get an A on my final report and I hope so with all the work I've done that he sees that I am worthy of the A, lolz. Unfortunately I think I am stuck with the B- in Apparel Textile Sourcing. I would've thought with the professor's pending wedding that she would've been a little bit more full of the holiday cheer, but apparently not. I really wanted an A in that class too to compensate for the C I AM HOPING AND PRAYING in Textile Production II.

Can't wait for my graduation baby.

Dog in a Box

Lamb in the box

Miami for NYE?

Derek and I are contemplating spending NYE in Florida. Aside from this I've been steadily planning my "resort" wear for the trip. I think we may stay a little longer this time, maybe travel down to the keys?

I don't know about anyone else but I LOVE resort. I ordered these cute little LOVE Moschino sandals that were in the December Elle, they have some rope and a red patent leather crab. I've never even heard of the LOVE Moschino line, just Cheap and Chic and Moschino, I'll have to do some investigating. Maybe it's just my love for prints and how every year I pretend I'm going to rock white pants (which I never do). Maybe this year is the year!

I got this JCrew bikini, except mine is a halter top. School of Fish print.

I have my Tory Burch "alexis" gladiator sandals....
Surprisingly comfortable although I haven't actually walked anywhere in them, just around the house.

Maybe I'll actually get to visit Bal Harbour this time around!

Shopping Trip

Went shopping with my Mom today. Almost came home empty handed but ended up buying a lovely wool Cole Haan winter coat, and my J Crew Beckett flat boots came today too! Wish my camera didn't suck so bad.

I also bought some dog toys for Lola, a plush "Bark Jacobs" high heel shoe and a plush "Furragamo" loafer, LOL.

ILL

Ugh, I feel absolutely disgustingly ill. I think I may have gotten food poisoning or something from last night because I woke up this morning at 5am-ish pukey mcpuke pants. I have my first exam on Thursday, it's an essay.

Shopping and lunch tomorrow with Mom : )

Sabotage

So I guess my blog was sabotaged temporarily? Because now all the gadgets work correctly, weird.

Anyway my Cynthia Steffe skirt came and it was HORRIBLE, I went to Neimans and returned it yesterday. My DVF wrap bag came and I LOVE it, my COH jeans came and aside from being super long are awesome.

My textile production II class is going out tonight to the Continental Olde City, never been to this location.

I am ALMOST a graduate. I have exams on the 11th, 15th, and 16th. It feels pretty insane, on the 11th I have my Apparel/Textiles Sourcing final from 3:30pm-5:30pm, on the 15th I have my Apparel/Textiles Quality Assurance final from 10:30am-12:30pm, and on the 16th I have my Textile Production II final at 8:00am-10:00am and my Apparel Merchandise Management Presentation at 1:00pm-3:00pm.

Louis Vuitton homage to Stephen Sprouse

There's a great article in WWD about the LV/Marc Jacobs homage to Stephen Sprouse. I'm not really a leggings person but for some reason these ones look so fun! I think it's the green because I wasn't super crazy about the monogram graffiti the first time although I do LOVE that Sprouse leopard scarf collabo.

--"To show their admiration for the late designer and artist, next month, Jacobs, Vuitton’s creative director, is using his hit 2001 collaboration with Sprouse for a new, limited edition collection of accessories and ready-to-wear. Jacobs even doffed his duds again, posing in the nude painted in Sprouse’s graffiti for Harper’s Bazaar’s January issue."

--"Jacobs took two iconic Sprouse motifs — the graffiti and the rose — and interpreted them in Day-Glo shades of pink, green and orange over the Monogram print. The motifs are featured on Vuitton’s Keepall, Speedy and Neverfull bag styles, as well as basketball sneaker boots, pumps, sunglasses, headbands and wristbands, and small leather goods like wallets and coin purses. The rtw includes a mackintosh raincoat with a graffiti and monogram lining, graffiti leggings and a long-sleeve neon minidress featuring the rose design."

--“I tried to take what Stephen had done at Vuitton and then kind of flip it in my head, and make it Vuitton’s work for Stephen, not Stephen’s work for Vuitton,” Jacobs said. “I just felt it was a funny way to play with it, to pretend to be Sprouse for a bit, and use the work that he did, and then bring it back to the work that he did before I collaborated with him.”
